Meditation can be of great benefit in a world that is often fast paced. Day-to-day life sometimes gets in the way. We forget to slow down and quieten the mind. Therefore, our soul cannot speak the volume of wisdom and truth available to assist us in our journey. Meditation is a great way to reconnect. Even 10 minutes upon waking and again before bed will make a huge difference to your day.
I am sharing my Morning Meditation with you free of charge. It is eleven minutes long and specially created for those who are new to meditation or have a busy schedule. Although this meditation is best done upon waking, it can be done at any time of the day. You could also listen to it multiple times if needed. Be guided by what is correct for you and how you can fit it into your day. Afterall, meditation is a tool that can be used at anytime, anywhere. However, it is helpful to have some guidelines when you’re first starting out.
Prior experience is not needed as it is a guided meditation. Either lie down or sit comfortably with your feet on the floor and avoid crossing arms or legs. You may also wish to create a warm and inviting space (a warm blanket or pillows, candles, incense or essential oils). Minimise distractions and turn off your phone. Although creating a space is not a necessity, it can assist with relaxation and quieting the mind. Just see how you feel, you may enjoy creating a little ritual for yourself.
